Well I thought I would announce that club membership has finally been sorted. Snezy and myself sat down last weekend and discussed the pro's and con's of everything and how we should run the club.

The final price for membership will be: $1 million dollars, thats right I am just being silly as usual, the actual membership fee will be FREE.

In the spirit that we started the club mainly as a group of friends with a common interest, we are continuing it with that in mind.

BUT, yes there is always one of those when the there is something for free, we have expenses for running the website and organising club events etc. Since the club sponsors have been organised once again with all you members in mind (i.e. sponsors give discounts to members rather than funding the club) we are currently paying out of our own pocket.

This is where all the loyal SilviaNSW members can make your contribution. We will be setting up a SilviaNSW bank account very shortly and will be accepting donations from anyone that will be put towards keeping the site running, upgrades and organising more events in the future.

There is no minimum donation, its all up to your own generosity and how much you think you get out of being a part of our growing community.

At the moment we haven't organised anything, but we might provide stickers to anyone donating sums larger than $25, but this is not confirmed.

This also means that anyone who has currently signed up, you should be getting an email in the next 2 weeks (once I have written the script) to send you your membership number and welcoming you officially to the club, and for all those who haven't signed up yet.... get to it !.

Thanks for all the support that has been provided in the last 18 months of the club, we hope that with the free membership scheme the club will continue to grow as a community and be enjoyed by all !!.

Update: We will be accepting donations at the upcoming BBQ cruise, if you would like to make a donation please speak to myself (Martin) or Snezy (Phil).

Donations will preferably be made as a direct deposit into the club account, but cash donations at club events will be accepted to make it easier for people. Hopefully if the account is setup as planned you will also be able to deposit into the account via any Woolworth's branch... now that is convenience!!!

I will provide a small (well medium sized) blue www.silviansw.com sticker to the first person to donate a sum larger or equal to $10. This sticker has been sitting around since the first year the club was started, it is ready to go on a car and is thanks to DumHed and his works sticker printer... so its a true part of the club :P

To make it all fair, I wont accept anything until we are at the BBQ grounds :P

Also, if the club receives enough donations, we might invest in a sticker printer so that we can provide all members with cheap stickers... AWESOME !!!

Mayhem perhaps donating members can get something in return for thier money such as a larger avatar and a silviansw email addy
but a regular donation would be needed to mantain use of those

Good to see the donation account starting up

I'll pitch in when it opens up, provided its not spent on keeping up everyone's Krispy Kreme addiction  (I'm jealous I've never tasted them!)
