I'd love to bring my car to unigroup for regular service/check-ups/f$ck-ups, but this guy is waaaay to far from me, and I guess any kind of public transport as well...

With tuning you get what you pay for

Everyone is looking for this mystical awesome tuner who charges half what everyone else does. Hate to tell you, but this tuner doesn't exist.

Anyone who is any good and has any self respect will know what a decent tune is worth and will charge accordingly.

If someone only charges 60% of what others are charging, then the tune WILL NOT be as good

i agree with part of what your saying anthony, however i do believe that as his reputation grow's, so does the amount he charge's.. realisticaly he's with 100-200 of everyone else however which is peanut's in the longrun.

Tuning is something I'm not willing to take a risk on for the sake of saving a couple of bucks.

I'll be going to Unigroup and I don't care what they charge. $200 more for a tune is better than the cost and hassle of a rebuild if my magical tight-ass tune from elsewhere doesn't work out.

The two gun tuners in Sydney (Unigroup and CRD) both charge around the same amount for tunes. I personally think that Yavuz takes greater care and puts more effort into making you happy though

Of the two mentioned above, CRD and Unigroup, you always hear some negative stories about CRD but never anything bad about Unigroup.

Whilst I dont believe everything I hear or read, my cousin had a poor experience with CRD and that is enough for me to never want to go there.

Yes Yavuz may charge a bit more now (his prices have been increasing) but you walk away with a car that runs perfectly and a guy that takes the time to explain to you what he has done and what the car is doing.

There are some things that I will try and save a buck or two on but engine tuning is not one of them.

yeh one bad thing about CRD is that they lock the tune so noone else can unlock it or retune the car.
