I have seen a greddy copy of the one I actually use. The difference in quality was unmistakable, the chinese one just looked trashy. On the other hand, a bov is a very simple mechanism, and trashy looking or otherwise the copies would probably work just fine. Still, is the extra money you would spend on say, a second hand genuine one not worth the peace of mind it would afford? |

I'd just buy a good working 2nd hand genuine Jap branded item. Can't go wrong with the prices they sometimes go for on forums. |

I've been using a Flyin brand ebay jobbie for a couple of years, and it has held up fine. I have it set fairly tight and no leakage yet. |

problem is the cheap chinese BOVs use inferior diaphrams, and dont last as long, whereas a genuine trust will last for years |
