being such a big ford fan *cough*, I thought I would let you guys know how the series I is going from the owners point of view.. below is a list of 46 common faults found in the "new" XR6T here also I have heard that the NSW HWP may cancel the contract they have with ford.. " Parramatta HWP were going to take on an XR6T but after testing at their test track at Goulburn, they decided not to. After just 4 laps of their test track, the XR6T had not brakes left. And with the cops unlikely to opt for the $5000 Brembo upgrade " " The use of XR8's also looks like a no show. Problems with gearboxes and diffs could also see the use of XR8's discontinued " =P so not only are they petrol "whores"/ tank hybrids.. they arent even reliable! just think of the ford add theme song " dont want the world to change, I like the way it is " obviously so do ford, they keep producing crap =P |

I like the look of them for a sedan, however I've heard waaay too many bad things about the quality of them... and that article proves it! Still, if I like the look of them more than the new VY Commodore |
