thank god for UPSs

the power went out about 30 mins ago, im going to miss recording some stuff, its getting warm and i cant use the aircon

i guess most of you cant post if you dont have electricity lol

it better come back on soon or ill be pissed off. oh and out of battery backup

i had to shut down my desktop machine to keep the UPS on for the modem and wifi! lucky i had my laptop

anyway its back up now. it was out for a while tho

lol so you copped it too? so did ryan and marnie yet her parents were ok and they are 5 mins from my place. weird

anyway its all good now and the UPS is all charged up again :)

im ready for another blackout!!

need another UPS for the hard drive recorder tho because i missed out on taping stuff. i think another 1500VA jobbie will do it :P

Yeah i still had another 10 minutes left on my UPS. Can usually get an hour run time on my 1000VA.

I've also got a 3000VA but i dont have 3 phase power in my unit !

ohh gimme the 3000va!! i dont have 3 phase but i just want it for the respect :P

my 1500va ran the desktop, modem and wifi router for 1.5 hrs. but then i used my laptop (battery) so shutdown the pc to save power, then i rekon it could have run the modem and wifi all night lol

my old pc ran for 5.5-6 hours on battery with the same UPS. this P4 eats power, must be all the hard drives and power eating ram and cpu i have lol
