Yeh almost everyone with selling modified car gets it.

Worse is when they come and check it out and then come back later and steal it.

It happens. :o

:o That's why it's always a good idea to suggest a meeting point somewhere other than where the car is parked overnight - like a maccas ;)

That way it's easier for eveyone to find, plus if they don't show on time they get burned - and at worst you cna get a burger to console yourself :D

A story I head a while ago was messed up - some guy was selling his modded GTR, some people rocked up and took it for a test drive and when they got back to his warehouse (that's where he kept it), there was a few more mates waiting there with guns. The car was recovered from some underworld bobb's house a few months later - apparenlty he collected them :o

Interesting punctuation
But all I'd care about when selling is
That they'd give me a lot of money

After the buyer hands over the money, and its sitting in my hand (or bank account) why should anyone give a rat's ass what they do with it?

If the car meant enough to you to be "your baby" then you wouldn't have sold it in the first place.

I'm in the process of selling my s15, and it happend a lot to me a lot. People always say they will come at a certain time..but never show. I guess they either find a cheaper car, get talked out of it by friend/parants or don't really have any money and are just dreaming (and too chicken to show up and admit it).

I had a mate who would spend his weekends pretending to want to buy a car, would test drive hot cars every weekend and brag about it..he seemed to have nothing better to do. So beware of time wasters.

Good luck with your sale.

Yeah thanks for your support peeps, wen it happens it happens. I think i'm expecting too much though, I think it will sell quick because of the type of car. But I'am living in a small town. When its sold you'll deffinately know about it though :D .

living in a small town is kinda good if ur worried about them knowing your home address - more reason to meet somewhere closer to buyer. but then thats gonna shit u if they dont show up. just make sure u grab their mobile number before agreeing to meet em anywhere, even if they have it switched off/dont answer, they cant have it switched off forever :D

whats probably worse than people not showing in the first place is those who'll say theyll buy it, but u never hear from em again. in selling my silvia, the first guy who saw it said he'd buy it, and ring me that night, he didnt, so i ended up selling in the next day i think it was. bl to him if he was actually serious (no deposit though, normally seperates then men from the boys)

when ever im buying or sellign a car or parts etc
buying - if im not interested ill tell them then and there, never like leading people on, caus ei know what its like, i i say ill call back or im coming to look at it i do,
selling - i tel the person, if ur not interested just say so its fine
it sounds rude but it needs to be done, i dont want someone telling me they r very interested and get back to me when they really arnt
its hard to do sometimes but best in the end
i get fucked around alot
people saying oh i want it i want it, but i dont have money, can u hold onto it for me for 6months blah blah blah

this always happens (u trying to sell some shit thru tradingpost and the cunt doesnt show). still, its better than some cunt showing and pretending to be interested , drives your car and fucks off, saying he'll only pay $8000 for your s14a.

i must say, i do this alot ,too, but not to real people. only to car dealers.

still scum behaviour, but at least the car yard guy gets paid a wage (plus they are uaually<notice the word USUALLY, not ALWAYS> cocky cunts anyway).
