Stock turbo for a 92 SR is a T25g. Remember when upgrading you need to think of a fair bit, make sure the flange is the right size, oil and water lines match or fit etc. A good upgrade is the S15 turbo minimal effort to swap with good power and potential.

a new s15 turbo from nissan was about $1450 and then you can get the garrett t25 gt spec for about the same price

check out www.horsepowerinabox.com

it bolts striaght on....and it is also a lot bigger then the stocker when you place the two turbos beside themselves....

its a good upgrade for the money.....and it will allow you to chase a modest power output....i prefered the gt spec of the s15 stocker

cheapest will be an S14 T28, which you can get from about $400 upwards.

There are other good turbos which are cheaper, like RB20 turbos - but you need to change your manifold flange to a T3 style, and get a custom dump pipe made up so it ends up being more expensive.

i think the gasket on both sides of the turbo and the bolts and retainer etc come to a total of around 100 from nissan

it is a bit of a time consuming job if u dont have the tools, but it is easily done urself, and also a good time to piss off your egr piping too.
