the blitz dual works well enough from the several installations I've seen before. I have no reason to doubt it's performance.

the IEBC is what, and made by whom?

ahh,now I see.

out of curiosity, how have you set it up? on the road or on a dyno? what boost gauge are you running?

for the record,I don't have a problem with jaycar. I've used plenty of their stuff in the past, and you get what you pay for.

I'd be interested in seeing a dyno sheet for that controller, with it running up to 21psi on a GTRS equipped car,for comparison to the SBC-R maps that I've seen in the past.

my setup is on that link, i have a long reply in there with all details (specifically the paint drawing of hose setup). it was a 10min road tune for now, im running an apexi EL range meter, mech.

well if anyone has the car in question, they can simply swap my setup onto their car and see how it goes, im sure i can arrange something

I swapped from a hybrid EBC a while ago, to a AVCR.
I was able to ramp the TD05-18G on 400-500Rpm earlier with the AVCR. Id expect the Blitz product to better again as well.

Also the tunning made a big difference to the turbo's ramp rate as well taking another 300Rpm or so off the "lag" time.

mm were not talking about hybrid EBC :)

IEBC doesnt = hybrid EBC

edit: with this boost controller, theoretically, without changing tune, you CANNOT spool up a turbo any quicker then this can, others can match, but nothing can do better. and i dont see why it wouldnt work in practice

simply because, the solenoid stays shut COMPLETELY (wastegate line sees no boost pressure), until you tell it to open at whatever load point between 0-64

I was aware of that however I was offering my comparision between two different boost controllers and their abillity to bring a turbo onto boost, Much like in the discussion that you were having.

also for the record,I don't have a problem with Julian's electronic know how, just his ideas on some issues. he's demonstrated before that he can put together modules like this.

I doubt the owner of said car would be interested though. if it was mine I'd consider it just for interest's sake.
