(NOTE: This thread was recently edited as i got a new pic to show here)

Hi,

I have a S15 SpecR with factory rear wing (non gt type), looks nice and has a break light. I have been Considering taking the wing off.

What's your opinion? Which do you think suits the car better? I have the stock front bar and specr skirts.

See the 2 pics below, Which do you prefer?

My car with Spec R Wing (warning, large pic):

JDM S15 with no wing:

So, what do you say?

P.S I'm considering a change but still undecided. I like the Black S15 with no wing but not really the blue one without a wing.

Thanks in advance,
Payam

It should come down to personal preferance, and you should'nt decide on what you do to your car based on other peoples subjective opinion - thats just been plain dumb.

i think you already want to go with the spoiler-less look, but are simply waiting for people to praise you on your choice.

Na - You've got me wrong.

I'm hoping to see what others think of this, if others have considered it..etc and what they think.

I have a habit of rushing in when i get an idea before thinking it through and i regret it later. I was hoping to see what others think before i go and rush out to get this done (i was going to pay extra and get this done while my car is @ a smash repair next week from a recent accident) the boot is not damaged but was going to pay to get this done.

I was about to go out and buy those rice clear tail lights for an S15 cos it looked good on a white one, but i saw it on a blue one and it looked really ugly.

So i hope i can get some feedback on the styling, i think the no wing look really looks good on a black S15, what do you think of it on a blue one?

I don't like it on a Pewter, red or pewter s15, i think it makes the car look odd like it's missing something, that's just my opinion. Looks hot on black ones!

The photo choppers will be able to remove the rear wing on your car.

Dude, you ask the weirdest questions !

Spoiler or spoilerless is really up to you. If you were after things like prices, complications etc... That would have been more beneficial. I think S15s look damn hot with/without the spoiler. That option should be completely personal and I'm sure everyone agrees. Besides, why would you want your car looking like what everyone else likes anyway ? Most people would rather a unique and somewhat different looking vehicle.

Go triple stack carbon fiber wings theyre the coolest.!!

To answer your question - you only need a wing if you can fly.

why don't you put a S15 GT Wing on if you don't like the look of a blue S15 without a wing and are looking for a change.

My personal preference is the 'GT' wing which is basically the Aero wing from the factory Nismo kit. I liked it so much I got one.

but like everyone else says, its your car and your choice mate :)
