The main thing that is wrong is that it spools boost and it is owned by you. :o
That concept in itself, a year ago would be somthing you would laugh at. :lol:

Good on you but, thats a huge effort and it seems to be going ok.
Congrats to you and all that helped, job well done. 8)

I reckon there's a page long list of stuff wrong with that :)

PS - there is a front mount.

Yep, that is a PVC stormwater pipe elbow! (I'll paint it black I think :))

I'll start it off then:

S14 Blacktop in an S13?

ok, since no one wants to have a close look :P

As MYS15T said:

* S14 Jap Spec N/A engine
* Modified S13 N/A Loom, ECU, AFM, sensors, etc
* S13 N/A Gearbox with home made short shifter
* Solid center brass button racing clutch
* 4.4:1 LSD
* Bluebird SSS Front mount cooler with 2.5" piping
* RB20 turbo on a modified custom tubular manifold
* $25 pod filter on a fooli sik storm water pipe adapter
* Skyline radiator with custom brackets, etc
* Commodore electric cooling fan and shroud with home made thermo controller
* Air con removed
* Dump pipe made by me, and 3" Kakimoto cat back with S15 cat
* Stripped interior

etc etc etc :P

Soon to have a roll cage, sparco seat, R32 brakes and wheels.

It ran 12psi tonight.. didn't seem to have any pinging, but I was just hanging on!
It's now running about 9psi, and needing tuning - but it should make 150+ at the wheels.

The conversion was done last weekend, with much help from Mayhem and Too_Much_Boost - who did the cooler piping.
I spent the rest of the week's evenings doing the wiring / piping up, making the dump pipe, etc.

all parts came from either my old car (such as the coolant bottle :)), were custom made, or were bought cheap / free over time.

Most expensive bits were the engine ($800 delivered with ECU and loom), clutch ($450), manifold ($350), turbo ($200)

The car will owe about 8k when it's complete...

And its drives remarkably well for a dodgy backyard job !!

I got a ride in it today on the way home from dropping my car off for a service... so can't wait till its tuned and running nicely to see what DumHed can do in the new mega death machine !
