If I read correctly, current P platers are not affected. *phew*

That's pretty harsh.

No mods at all for new P platers.......

yeah, means I don't have to sell my turbo pulsar just yet, so it gives me a few more months up my sleeve to save for something better

I wasn't sure it was such a great idea until I read this:

Quote:
These will include higher standards for driver training – the third component of The Daily BullSh!t campaign.

As long as they do that as well, I think it's alright.

Its a great idea. P-Platers should actually learn to drive before getting behind the wheel of a fast car, or even a not-so-fast car

It's lucky that it doesn't affect existing P platers. That would be a fair ammount of people on this forum.

F**cking pathetic, even though im not affected

you dont have to have a high powered car to wrap it around a pole. you will always have kids pushing there cars to the limits on there p's, forcing them into smaller hatchbacks doesnt mean they wont kill themselves

what really pisses me off are these rightous moronic parents who think they are in a position to make decisions for others.. wtf

the victims parents, should have not allowed there kids to purchase these high powered cars IN THE FIRST PLACE if they didnt trust them... instead of letting them have the car, them crashing and killing people, then having a winge and placing restrictions on EVERYONE around them

i think its time these idiot minorities took responsibility for there OWN actions, and stop burdening others because of THEIR mistakes

its the whole principle of the matter, if this same logic is applied in other areas i can see alot of BS laws springing up

totally agree with you mokompri- if youre going to crash a car wtf difference does it make if its turbo charged ect- fkn wankers

Either way even if you do loose youre liscense after july MY FKN ASS they can tell me i cant drive the car i have owned in my name for the last 2 years

I am pretty sure this is focuesd on newbies getting there p's and there choice of car off the bat

LOL thats gotta be some funny shit

Ban high performance vehicles, big woop, you'll ALWAYS have newbie P plate drivers that will think they are indestructable in their family cars driving at 100km in a 60 zone.

Same thing will still happen, relatively same amount of crashes.. People just dont get it do they, any car going 60-80 hitting a pole will have the same effect.. :-?

I think its a great idea , i never drove a turbo car until i had driven a slow fwd car for 1 year first . Anyone who jumps straight into a turbo RWD car as soon as they are on their P's is nuts anyway cause they think they can handle it but they cant
