Heya I am in desperate search of a tyre joint in Sydney metro area which stocks the Kumho KU36s in following sizes:

245/40/17 $230 per tyre
225/45/17 $205 per tyre

So far I got a decent price from FSport but the dude is conveniently racing somewhere across the country and doesn't have anyone else who can fit tyres.

Need to book in this Friday or Saturday!!!

If you have mates who work in tyre shops or had a good experience somewhere, please let me know.

Please text 0411 327 263. Thanks!!!

Hey Jayne u wanting to go to Oran Park South on those tyres eh?

I got mine from Option 1 Garage back when they were on sale in April this year.

http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/inde ... try4964430

I've got the same tyres in the almost the same sizes: 225/45/17 and 255/40/17. But I'm reluctant to use them at Oran Park South due to the high amount of grip they provide since I don't feel comfortable pushing the limits on them as I would with the used Re001s since I know very well how they behave.

Anyhow see you tomorrow! Good luck with sourcing your tyres.

I love those forum - always get some decent replies no matter how far fetched the Silvia-related question!

Thanks for texting me Adam - unfortunately it is too late because I needed the tyres fitted for Sunday.

Chris - yes I wanted to use them on Oran because I never seem to get enough heat into the RE001s and Oran is quite slippery...

I have been really disorganised this time around - I had myself booked in for a set of Kumhos to be put on Friday arvo then they called me to say they couldnt get the tyres in coz the next shipment arrives on Wednesday (when I'll be back in Melbourne). Just really bad luck and not enough hours in the day :(

I'll have to source them in Melbourne when I get back or if I bring my car back to Sydney later I'll try Moorebank.

Thanks for all the replies guys - really appreciate it!

Hey Shell,

How long ago was that?

I just rang them then:

215/45/17 = $175 fitted
225/45/17 = $180 fitted (order in)
235/45/17 = $175 fitted

WTF?

Pete
