hey guys i have done some research but need help.

i'm thinking of swapping my 180sx for a show car s14 however the guy says it blows blue/grey somke.

i know it could be the turbo seals or piston rings. is there anything else that would make it blow smoke. are there any tests which i can do to figure out what the problem is?

would there be further damage if its the piston rings leaking.

also how much would i be looking at to fix the problem.

thanks for the help guys.

could also be valve stem seals.

It might be worth doing a compression test, and generally looking at how the car has been treated.

Chances are it's going to need some work though.

take it to mechanic and get a leakdown test done will rule out any engine faults should be no more than $100 or compression test done will be cheaper wet and dry if all good turbo 4 sure
