hey does any one here run an os geiken twin plate clutch? i have one on an sr20 with an rb25 gtst 5spd gearbox behind it. the thing is i get very loud backlash/chinging noise from 3,500 to 2500 rpm. the right oil is in it, ive had the box stripped and inspected and its immaculate. the guy said its cause i have a solid centre cluch and the off power backlash isnt absorbed as opposed to a sprung centre. so any input would be good. cheers all. |

I ran a TS2A behind my rb20 and for a few months behind my rb25 until the diaphram snapped in 2. Unsprung, non damped. It had a bit of back lash to it, but i quickly learned just to dip the clutch if it started as it would only happen when i was crawling around a carpark in 1st gear. I run a sprung single plate now and i find it a bit worse as it tends to bounce a bit more than the old unsprung one did. |

i,m just worried i,ll shatter a gear or something. i,ll find out on wed this week. i might take it to the creek and see if something brakes. soon find the prob or give it more reason to be noisy. |
