Hmmm yeah I figured out mine had a working range of 7-91% too, but it just didn't seem to do what I told it to.

Maybe it was because I varied the output duty cycles too much, i.e. brought it all the way to 91%. How'd you figure out you only had to vary yours to such a lower number?

wooah 91% ?? thats not right

the range of duty cycle you will be in is determined by the restrictors hole size/diameter.

say for example if you had a 1mm diameter restrictor, your duty cycle range would be lower then if you had a 2mm restrictor. reason being that, as the solenoid pulses air into the wastegate line, its always being constantly bled by the restrictor.

so the amount of air being passed through the solenoid into the wastegate line must exceed the amount of air the restrictor is bleeding, so that you get pressure build up in the wastegate line, and thus opens the wastegate.

so then you can see that, the bigger the restrictor diameter is, the more air it can flow, thus the more air the solenoid needs to pulse through to the wastegate line to exceed the restrictors capacity, and thus meaning higher duty cycles.

so after all that, what size restrictor did you use :) also did you double check hose connections ? and what exactly did it do ?

edit: its good to have a nice wide range of duty cycles, it gives a larger range of adjustability, and i found 1.5mm to be pretty good
